The main objective of the Association’s social activities is to support the integration of Romanians living in Belgium into the host society and to provide social assistance to those in disadvantaged situations.
Our social projects include emergency food and medical assistance, assistance for single-parent families in emergency social situations, home care for the elderly in Belgium and Romania, support for repatriation.
In order to facilitate the integration of Romanians into the Belgian labour market and social and economic system, Association C.A.S.A. offers advisory services regarding the various local economic, social and community services: education, healthcare, labour market, human rights.
To support the socio-cultural integration, the Association offers courses in French, Dutch and English. In the Roma communities resident in Belgium, literacy courses are also required. CASA courses are a first step to get these people out of precariousness and begging.
